Member Spotlight: Orlando Health Physician Associates

Orlando Health Physician Associates is one of the largest multi-specialty healthcare groups in Central Florida. Alix Casler, M.D, joined Physician Associates in 1995. She is a board-certified pediatrician and practices in Orlando Health Physician Associates’ Lake Nona Office.
Dr. Casler earned her A.B. at Dartmouth College and her M.D. at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She did her pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
In addition to her pediatric practice at Physician Associates, Dr. Casler is the chairperson and medical director of quality of the group’s pediatric department. She instructs the Quality Improvement program at the University of Florida pediatric residency program at Arnold Palmer Hospital, and is assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the Florida State College of Medicine and the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Casler is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Central Florida’s regional representative to the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Casler also works as a consultant for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, teaching quality improvement methodologies in improving vaccination rates.
Dr. Casler is the mother of four young adults. She enjoys spending time with family and her dog, cooking, and the outdoors.
Daniel Goddard, MD, joined Physician Associates in 2008. Board certified in family medicine, he specializes in comprehensive care for patients of all ages, providing preventive care as well as management of complex and chronic conditions.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, Dr. Goddard completed his residency in family medicine at the Naval Hospital Charleston in South Carolina.
Dr. Goddard is certified in diabetes and heart/stroke recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). He is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Practice.
Amanpreet Bhullar, MD, joined Orlando Health Physician Associates in 2015, and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Since first joining Orlando Health in 2009, Dr. Bhullar has served as a faculty member for OB/GYN in the Department of Medical Education at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, including four years as director.
Dr. Bhullar earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed his residency and internship at Arnold Palmer Hospital. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Florida State University College of Medicine.
Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Bhullar worked as an attending physician at OB & GYN Specialists, P.A. in Winter Park, Florida.
Dr. Bullar has co-authored multiple articles for publication. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and of the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
