Announcing LNRCC’s Newest Staff Member: Madelyn Long, Administrative Coordinator

Elaine Vail

Madelyn LongOn January 21 the Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed Madelyn Long as a new Administrative Coordinator serving as a staff member along with Elaine Vail under the supervision of the President/CEO Don Long.
Madelyn comes to the Chamber with a wealth of knowledge from more than 17 years’ experience at the St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce where she served as the Membership Manager and Business Development Coordinator. During her tenure in St. Cloud, Madelyn helped grow that chamber from less than 250 members to more than 600. She also assisted in the concept and planning of many of that chamber’s successful events and programs.
Don Long stated at the Board of Director’s Strategic Planning Retreat in January that in his opinion there is no better candidate to help manage and further the growth of the Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce. This view was also shared by multiple directors as they supported the CEO’s decision for bringing Madelyn on board. Don Long continued that the growth of the Chamber and support required to return continuing value to the membership require the highest level of experience and insight possible.
Madelyn Long previously held several senior positions in the United States Government where she worked as a Systems Analyst. She also holds the Superior Honor Award from the United States Department of State for outstanding commitment and efforts while serving at the U.S. Embassy Belgrade, Yugoslavia. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Fitness, Recreation and Health from the University of Maryland.
Please join the Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and staff in welcoming Madelyn to the family.
